First run after my fall!

Just started week nine and have not been out since a bad fall whilst out last week. I felt quite nervous as I think the fall knocked me. However, I got out there and did it! Really tough on my way back from my run as I was by the seafront and the wind was head on! Covered 4.2k so not quite at 5k but not too far away I guess. Only two more runs until I graduate! So close!

Thanks. I felt I had to get back out there and run again. I took an easy route today though along the sea front so didn’t have to go on and off kerbs and cross roads. Took it easy though 😊

Well done you. Has the swelling went down on your arm 😊

The swelling has gone down lots but it is very badly bruised. It’s very colourful! Not aching anymore really but sore with any pressure on it. Thanks for your concern x

I’m impressed... thought you’d be out a little longer. Great comeback run too! Enjoy those last 2... we’ll get the bubbly on ice.

Ooh, poor you, glad you're on the mend...I'm always a little nervous of a fall when I'm countryside running! And well done on that 4.2K, only about 10/15 percent get to 5K by graduation...I'm around the same speed as you in half hour and still working my way towards 5K. Graduation here you come, enjoy it and the cheesy grin that comes along with it 😁
