My first morning run

Who invented morning waking up?

Probably somebody who was running :) Stunning nature waking up to the life. Even my village so diferent between when I started (quite, empty) and now (ppl rushing to work).

I felt I could run like that all day, but work is waiting.

Thanks :) I am very proud of myself. Great end of week 1!

Before run I drank only 1 glass of water with honey and lemon. I was afraid it wouldn't be enough, but for today it was :D

This is exactly what I want to do...run in the early morning! Hoping I can start to adjust my life and get out there while the weather is lovely and enjoy the countryside! ๐Ÿ˜€

I need to admit that i managed only because my partner was going out early today. I am a night owl, so waking up before 9am is difficult and every minute is precious, which means every weekday is a small horrorโ€‹ :/

So let's hope I will manage to repeat this achievement of morning run again ;)

Haha!! I'm glad it's not just me then!! I like to think I'm a morning person but it never actually happens....hence my little runs being at 8pm!! ๐Ÿ˜‚

Well... Maybe for us "morning run" is around 6pm (for me) - 8pm (for you)

:P

Morning is 11am for me! I am more likely to see 5am at the end of the night. Nice we are all different.

I am so glad you got out there this morning and enjoyed it (sorry for being a nag yesterday!)

Thanks :)

No problem with yesterday. It would have worked if I'd write earlier. And we all sometimes need a motivational kick in the bottom. Apparently it worked with delay ;)

Don't we just - on one of my earlier runs I remember my husband telling me that I needed to open the door and get out there - I was going but very slowly in full on faf mode. Enjoy the rest of your day with that running high, and take a rest tomorrow.

I get up at 5am to run and love it. Have completed week 2 today and slightly worried about going from 90 secs to 3 mins. But hopefully will manage. I have never, ever run before and have surprised myself with how much I am loving it ๐Ÿ˜Š

5am?! Wow! I'm impressed and terrified at the same time. How are you able to wake up so early?

Do you drink / eat anything before run?

Week 3 runs are easier than you think. Just go slow and steady ;)

Enjoy

Hi I go to bed early about 9.30 ish and have always been an early riser. I find it cooler in the mornings to run. I don't eat or drink before going out. Did wk3r1 today and it was okayc๐Ÿ˜Š

I've also just done my first morning run! OH working late tonight so set my alarm for 5 and got out there! Saw 4 rabbits, a hare, a deer and what looked like an eagle (can you tell I'm not a bird expert!) it's put me in such a good mood for the day - still waiting for the kids to wake up ๐Ÿ˜†

Week 4 day 3 done โœ… now onto the dreaded week 5 ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Yeah, I saw so many animals on my canal route :)

Week 5, don't put your thoughts in such a negative way. It is challenging, not dreaded. And you build yoir stamina for past 4 weeks, you have already run 12 times. Your body is ready for week 5 :) Do not think too mich about minites you have to run and enjoy each run, each achievement, each finished run, and be surprised what you are capable of ;)
