Did my first Park Run!

After re-running the week 9 runs for a few weeks, the stars aligned and I went to a parkrun. I was a bit anxious on my own but just trotted along at my own pace. Found it quite hard to know how fast I was going with other runners around me. Was very surprised to find I clocked in at just under 30 mins and was about middle of the pack. Well chuffed with that, I thought I was going quite slowly and my main aim was to just keep going the whole way round. My main goal when starting this was to do a park run. Next stop, my more local much more hilly parkrun... maybe 😄 This c25k thing really works.

That’s brilliant GroovyGardener …it’s easy to feel a bit lost during parkrun and not quite knowing where you are but you’d nothing to worry about, you nailed it!!! Very well done 👏

That's really terrific! Congratulations on your first parkrun!

I find it really hard to hold back at what I know if a good pace for me at the beginning of races. Its sounds like you managed very well.
