I know folk say muscle weighs more than fat, but 5lbs since I started. I’m sure I’ve lost inches but not measuring for another week. W4R2 today, thank goodness there is going to be more of a breeze today.

Who else has put weight on!
I did to start with. Yes, muscle weighs more than fat but you won’t have gained that much muscle bulk in that space of time. I found I was hungry all the time but the runs themselves weren’t really burning as many calories as I was hungry for, if you get my drift. I’m sure you will see changes in your measurements. Stick at it, and watch your fitness improve: this will happen much quicker!

Now, maybe forget the scales and just go with how you and your clothes feel...
I put weight in at one point, ( good for me though)...and you may or may not lose weight
A healthy eating regime, linked with this programme is a great combination!
What I didn’t say was I was recently quite poorly for a couple of months and lost 9kg very quickly so suppose that won’t help.
Right... well that won't help! I can empathise... I have been on the IC and lost weight... and now am trying to get it back on ( we need the fuel for our runs) If you are feeling well, just go with it... build up and you will find things even out...

I also put on around 6 pounds, and I wasn’t gorging on chocolate to keep up my energy levels 😄 Don’t worry though: the gain will plateau out and then you’ll start to lose. Trust your body and focus on the fun x
