Feeling pleased with myself - I even put on a bit of pace in the last 60 seconds. I've been slightly dreading this - avoided it a bit by going for a bike ride instead of running. It's much easier. But I'm glad I made myself do it this evening and it wasn't as hard as I'd built it up to be in my mind. I'm going to take my trainers on holiday and hopefully will find time to get week 7 under my belt before I get back.

Great job... and a mental breakthrough, the wall you built didn’t really exist, but it’s a hard wall to break down. Nice bit of cross training on your procrastination too! You got this now... have a wonderful (running) holiday.

Congratulations, you are now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER by completing run 3 of week 6, great advice from UnfitNoMore to you.

Me, a runner? That's something I never thought to hear. Can't wait to hear what I'll turn into at the end of week 7 - almost worth doing it just to find out!

At the end of week 6, run 3, whoever is your coach congratulates you by telling you that you are "now OFFICIALLY a RUNNER " however, there maybe some coaches that don't say that, I had Laura as my coach when I was doing C25K and she said that after run 3 of week 6.

Only 3 weeks to go...you can do this ! Only a few minutes to add and you're at 30 minutes !

Well done, a big achievement. I ran that on Tuesday and struggled mentally, but enjoyed W7R1 more (well, hated it less would be a better way to describe it!). Hope you have a great holiday, and it's really impressive that you're planning to continue the programme while you are away.

Thanks, Blackcat66. Hated it less is right, but only for bits of a run now. I go through phases: sometimes I'm in a bit of a daze, sometimes I'm close to enjoying it, sometimes I think that I've got to stop NOW and then I find myself at the end. You're supposed to be a runner by the end of week 7 - but I'm yet to experience the high.
