Running 4 fitness & trying to stay sane

Just joined a 0-5k local running “group” but am actually getting one2one training. Now at week 7, 2.3 miles (2x15 mins, 1 minute walking). I’d like to do a bit in between my weekly mid week sessions but find it doesn’t happen. Any suggestions?

Stick to 3 runs per week with a day of rest in between. If your just running twice during the week you could now at this stage try a Parkrun on Saturday mornings. Stick with your plan, run and walk your way around the 5K course.

Hi, I’ve only been going x 1 p/w so I can definitely up it. I’ll go tomorrow. Thanks for the advice. I am nearly ready for the park run, yes.

Ah yes if you do 3 runs per week and make sure to have a rest day in between your running will come on greatly. Best wishes to your last few runs and enjoy Parkrun
