You can do this. Take it slow and steady - embrace your inner snail, as many people will tell you ! Happy running 😀

I'm on W5 and I've loved the journey. I'm 56 and never run before. I think the key is not being disappointed even if 60 seconds is a struggle. Walk if you have to and repeat the week until you complete it and then move on. You'll be fine. 😀

This was me 6 years ago. I started C25K then and it really helped me and gave me something to focus on. I was eventually running 7k 3 times a week. The only reason I stopped running was due to an Achilles problem but I am now up and running again about to start W7. Keep at it you won’t regret it. This forum is brilliant too with lots of tips. Good luck

Well done for getting started again. I’m on week 9 and am wondering if I’ll have the willpower to continue. Good to know that the forum will always be here if I have a bit of a wobble.

You will have I am sure if it. I am 58!startwd in August and found W1R1 a frightening challenge . Now running for 30 mins 3x per week and look forward to it. Hope you get the same outcome as great achievement to date. Go graduate!

This is the one for you. Just enjoy it go as slow as you want and you will equally have a great sense of achievement. I am 58, started in August and couldn’t run at all. Now (genuinely ) look forward to running 3x per week. Go for it as I am sure it will benefit you greatly both physically and emotionally

Welcome to the group Bosslami. Please let us know your progress occasionally. I get a great sense of achievement myself by reading about other members' experiences. Do try to find a companion who may be willing to walk with you, or even jog with you. But at the end of the day, we are all here to support your new life and exercise. Go lady, go lady.
