Running keeping me sane!

My anxiety has gone into overdrive with all this Coronavirus stuff but has pushed me back into running and is making such a difference to my state of mind. I’m doing the last 3 weeks of couch to 5k. Given up working out how far I’m running and how fast and just running for myself and it’s very liberating. Good to have laura telling me when I’m half way and stuff though. The sunshine is probably helping somewhat too - glad we are not heading into winter. 25 minutes today and really enjoyed a little sprint in the last minute. Good to have something positive in my life again.

Same, Bumblebetty. I am so pleased to hear that you are back to your running again – such a good stress relief and a chance to get out of one's head for a bit. Keeping ourselves healthy (with running, good healthy eating and sleeping) is a good idea right now. And staying in touch with lovely communities such as this one.

Keep running!

This running malarkey has definitely improved my mood also.

As a bonus/ it didn’t seem to matter that it was wet/windy/cloudy.

So- there is hope for winter and the SAD.

Definitely, Bumblebetty (Great name). Running really makes a difference. 😎

Glad to hear you’re back running and back with the community here, anything that can keep the anxiety down at the moment is going to be so important for so many. The sunshine has been so lovely recently and yes aren’t we lucky it’s Springtime. 😎😊
