Running is keeping me sane!

I never thought I’d be writing this post, but having completed C25K in 2020, I’ve kept going and am now running 60 mins a couple of times a week! I’m not super fast - by any means - and my 5k time is 44 minutes, but I feel great and am so happy that I stuck with the program!

Totally agree with you! It’s kept me sane too! 😀

Whatever the reason Susojan we're never gonna sit in judgement!👍 And sanity and running Definitely go hand in hand.

It's that time on out own to unclutter, destress, get away from it all.....

Those regular 60 minutes of you time kudos and respect it's Brilliant dedication 🙂🙂

Hi Hidden .. Have you noticed how some of your posts have weird formatting lately?

It's an internal gremlin issue I suspect, and will probably be rectified asap 👍

I agree, it’s one of the best things to come out of 2020 for me.

My partner said today that she wanted me to go out for a run because it helps my mood. I hadn't noticed it myself, but others obviously have!

😁 I notice I snap and bite at my family if I've been denied a "due" run....

I agree, one of the few positives from 2020 is that I completed the C25k and though it’s difficult, I’m still trying to run when I can as it’s such a positive mental experience. Bring on Spring and warmer days..

I only started running in 2020, and I totally agree with you. Has kept me sane too. Can’t do without it 😂

I echo what everyone else says . Prior to October of last year I hadn’t run for about 20 years . Now I can’t imagine not having regular running in my life .

I’m so happy for you and totally understand! I’m surprised at my progress as well. Speed is not my thing either. I’m convinced running easy and having longevity in running (few injuries) is far more important than speed. Same benefits mentally and physically.
