W5R3 Yey!

So I have started couch to 5k twice before but have come back after a long time off. This time I started off on the treadmill - but when I got to week 5 I decided the length of running would be more fun outside. Which it is - except I didn’t think there were so many hills in flat Canterbury!!! A big difference between road running and treadmills! Still this morning I completed W5R3.... a whole 20 minutes of (slow) running. Have never made it this far before so am feeling very proud of myself. Still can’t believe I ran for 20 minutes!! 😀

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3 which you have just ran 🏃 😊

Thanks for this. I was looking ahead thinking it would be a breeze but then did read a few posts saying that people found it tricky. Good to know as will make sure I moderate pace and not go off too fast!!!
