That’s encouraging! I did feel a wee bit demoralised when I realised just how slow I am but am focused on how far I have come and getting to the end of week 9. Haven’t told anyone I am doing it either so am excited about the “big reveal” 🙂.
That will be a surprise. My speed used to be slower ! I got a tiny bit faster during consolidation. You shouldn't feel demoralised at all, really, you are out there running instead of sitting on the sofa, you chose to improve your mental and physical health, the speed you run is irrelevant to that. You can work on improving speed once your legs are stronger and you are fitter. Give yourself a pat on the back instead.
Absolutely! I am constantly amazed by how far I have come, especially when I struggled with running for 60 seconds at the start! And setting the alarm for silly o’clock three days a week as well- am loving it! Happy running 🙂- whatever the speed!
