I never thought I’d get here. A 25 minute run seemed impossible all those weeks ago when running for 1 minute was beyond me.
Today it was cold and wet. I had a Day annual leave booked but I was determined to finish my week 7 so I could move on up week 8.
Within the first 10 minutes I could feel my legs aching and thought this was going to be a tough one. I got to half way and that’s when the light at the end of the tunnel starts shining brightly, knowing I had broken the back of it and doing the last bit and willing that 1 minute countdown!
It’s crazy to think that the penultimate milestone is Michael telling me I ONLY have 5 minutes left when a few weeks ago I was dreading the 5 minute runs. Now look, I’m running 25 minutes. Me!
I have faith in this programme and now have only 6 runs until graduation. 2 weeks left. Today I realised that my graduation run falls on my birthday! At first I tried to see if I could move my runs around to give me a run free day on my birthday but I’m kind of liking the idea of graduation on my birthday. What a gift to myself!

Great run. A few weeks ago 25 minutes was impossible... now you have beaten the impossible due to some hard work and choosing the cleverest little running plan!
Birthday graduation sounds good to me... enjoy the runs leading you up to it.
Fantastic post from you LostRunner, you will never be lost here on C25K, it would be wonderful to hear from you that you completed C25K and graduated🎓 on your birthday🎂, yes it would be one of the best birthday gifts in your life 🎂🎓
Amazing job. Well done! I find the first 10 mins the toughest. After that, I seem to be in a good stride and the minutes just go by. I too can’t believe how much progress it’s possible to make by following this programme. Enjoy these last runs until graduation and enjoy even more all the ones that come after!
