My last run of week 8 and I thought yeah I can do this. Sadly due to an appointment I had to do later in the day around 2-2:30pm. Omg I found it soo difficult. First bad amount of hay fever to point where it looked like I was crying. Secondly also it was the hottest part of the day. This was my slowest run in terms of pace. It was amazing that it made me really lazy for the rest of the day. Looks as if I am definitely a morning runner or evening runner not on the hottest part of the day!! Anyone else like that can't run during the heat of the day or maybe early in the morning etc?!

Early morning is the best time for you to run, well done on completing week 8.
For the 3 runs of week 9, including your graduation run, it would be advisable to run them all, early morning, good luck for your graduation run 🏃 😊.

Early morning.... take it steady and slow and relax into these longer runs Well done you!
Been there done it not nice is it as a rule early morning or night time when it’s cool or rain for me I run better in it 😉 and well done on getting to week 9 not to far now and you’re graduated 😉 and by the way what heat lol it’s been raining here for days that’s what you get for living in sunny Manchester lol 😂

If you have hayfever then you could maybe check your pollen counts (there will be a website) and adjust. I have serious breathing problems / asthma with hayfever and didn't realise it until I had a bad asthma attack out of the blue a few years ago. Sucking in large amounts of air laden with the pollen you are allergic to may have caused your difficulties at least in part. I don't want to be alarmist but I nearly ended up in hospital if my doctor hadn't had an injection already in his office to give me before the attack got really dangerous.

Great job getting it done. I’m naturally an evening runner, but have been doing some morning running lately as I like parkrun and remember Brian Clough’s theory that we should train at the time we are going to be “competing” and that transition hasn’t been too bad... but when I get delayed and run after about 10 it becomes a much bigger struggle.

I always run late afternoon/early evening. Works well for me. I would never have the energy first thing! 😂
