That three extra minutes surprisingly did feel harder and the old legs screamed. "No". It did however give me the opportunity to add a few more avenues to the route. I did think might as well go directly to week 9 and 30 minutes. I agree now it's important to build that stamina and be patient. Follow the scheme everyone it really is a science.

You are right wappingdave, the plan has been designed to get you running 30 minutes in the safest possible way. Stick with it and you’ll graduate without injury 🏃♂️👏🏻
W8R1 also completed today too. Those extra minutes did feel like they were going to be a step too far. I did it - I don't feel confident or look forward to running but I just love the feeling of achievement and utter amazement when I actually finish. I have religiously stuck to the programme. We are well on the way.
Well done wappingdave for pushing on, even if your legs weren't keen to keep on going. I think now that you have done it once, the next one will feel easier for you. But the weather has warmed up again and that definitely makes it feel tougher so drink more water too.
