W4R2 Done... But it hurt!

Have just completed W4R2 and my legs felt very heavy throughout. I was in mild discomfort most of the run with a stiff calf and some general leg/foot pain. Nothing drastic but I knew it was there. I usually run first thing but couldn't today so went this evening. Don't know if it was hurting because my legs were tired before I started? Still looking forward to putting W4 to bed with R3 on Friday morning though.

Hope everyone had a good run today.

Cheers Phil.

Hi Phil

Have you been drinking water ? It can really help with stiff / heavy legs.

Well done for finishing anyway.

Yeah, I've been very conscious of my water intake lately. I've had around 2 litres throughout the day before the run. Also about another 1 litre since. Is that enough? I go everywhere with a refillable water bottle now! Lol

Lol, I hear you, sometimes Inthinknit would be easier to just pour it straight down the toilet and cut out the middle man : )

You have to drink like that everyday, the day before the run is just as important.

Good luck

Great job... as above hydration is a prime suspect with heavy legs, and after a day at work it’s likely this was the issue. Enjoy Friday morning.
