Ok, I’ve been doing some consolidation running. Sometimes I work on pace, sometimes distance. I seem to be a little at sea without Laura. I always run for at least thirty minutes, but I’m wondering if I should be doing intervals as well. I really should post my runs because I need someone to keep me honest. Just looking for some guidance. Help!

Consolidation running - is there a plan?
Hi Charliemom! You are doing brilliantly keeping up your regular thirty minutes of running!😊
How about joining the monthly Quest on here... Oldfloss is organising it this month here is the link...

Joining the Quest can help you feel accountable and you post your progress on there each week. Also do write run reports if you want to. Think about what you will write while you are running, then post when you get back.
You could record your runs on Strava too, lots of us are on there in the nhs c25k club.
Relax and enjoy your running, you are getting stronger, maybe you would enjoy the c25k + podcasts, and maybe building distance to 10k or doing Parkrun.
Have a read of the what to do next post...

Happy running!😊x
What are you hoping to achieve?
Do you have targets?
Without aims, it is impossible to construct a meaningful plan.
I still haven’t accomplished a 5K run yet. So I keep running, trying to increase my distances. I went for a walk yesterday planning just to walk but ended up doing intervals. I ran and walked for 6K. I liked the plan to get me to 30 minutes, so I think I’m looking for a similar plan to get me to 5K. Something a little more organized than walking out the door and doing whatever I fancy at the moment....which I’m about to do right now.
Hi , it seems you are already doing really well continuing with your consolidation runs.
I also felt the same and wasn’t sure what to do but I’ve now fallen into the pattern of two runs in the week , one is shorter and I do some hills (eeek) and then one flatish 5k and then my Saturday run I make longer each week. I’m up to 7k now . I decided my next aim is to be able to run 10k .
Good luck with whatever you decide, there are options of things like bridge to 10k if that’s what you wanted to do or just continue getting fitter and stronger with what you’re doing as even if we’re out for 30 mins, it’s better than not being out at all!
You can do the Bridge to 10k plan but for increasing time rather than distance. That’s what I used as structure to get me to 5K. It includes some hints to strength and flex activities as well, which I found useful.
Have a look on the Bridge site at the pinned posts. But in fact I think there is a group about to start.
I’m going to do it again to get to 10k but not this month when I am swamped with lovely visitors. 😊
