Hi, I have just started last week couch to 5k. I have just done week 2 run 1 in the pouring rain. I really want to lose weight and feel healthier as I weigh the most i have ever in my life. Im hoping it helps my anxiety too I am looking forward to supporting others and likewise, I dont know if i will make it to the end it sounds daunting!!!

Well done. At least you have taken the hardest step and started. I on the other hand have just found the challenge and am still thinking of starting. Am finding lots of excuses though: weight, no running shoes, heart attack, poor core strength, generally always had a lack of motivation to do running for runnings sake!!!

Hi Picksy, thank you like yourself I tried ro find every excuse under the sun not to do it. However, I am so tirex of feeling this way, so unhealthy, my mental anxiety etc.. I took the hardest step and ran. I felt silly kept going a different way when i saw people but did it. It was so invigorating after though for the first time in a long time i felt i achieved something. You can do it, just take one step at a time im sure we can get therewith the right support!

Hey well done for getting out there today! I'm in the same place, started last week, ran W2R1 today. Felt harder than week 1... and my muscles are still feeling it too. I'm trying to find routes to run off road, the greenness helps me de-stress. Not looking ahead yet, one run at a time!

Well done on W2R1! I am at the same point as you. I am trying not to think about what's coming up, just doing what is asked of me now. I have been feeling sluggish and could have stayed inside out of the rain tonight, but I am proud of getting outside and proud of everyone else doing this too.
