Difficult run

I felt a bit out of sorts on this morning's run. I had new earphones that didn't stay in, music stopped working and mind was full of everything I needed to fit into the day. The first 5 minutes were difficult (always my hardest time) I needed to give myself a good talking to. Basically told myself this was MY time and I wanted this so do it. The rest of the run went much better.

Well done for completing the run. Earphones are a pain. I used them once and gave up. Never used them since.

I hate those earphones that keep popping out of the ears, however, the over the head ear phones are much better, I think the very latest type are Bluetooth, they don't need any leads but I have heard reports that they keep cutting out.

I had a childish tantrum over earphone issues getting in the way of one of my early runs. It took me ages to get up and running with 'tech' as it isn't my thing. I was really cross that it was spoiling my precious run haha! Glad you got to grips with it! I have some amazing earphones now. They're blutooth Aftershokz. They transmit the sound through your head leaving your ears free to hear traffic/people which I really like for safety. Great sound quality and completely comfortable and secure. Just mentioning it in case you might like to buy yourself a graduation present in the future :-) Happy running and I hope the next one is great!

Thanks, I'm a bit of a technophobe; took me a while to get used to headphones at all. The ones I had today were a present (husband being supportive) so I need to persevere with them a while.
