After far too long, I think the past week has finally seen the last of the dreaded Injury Couch for this round. 😊
Three different runs and no return of aches and pains. Hurray for that! Even moved back towards top tortoise speed today, “encouraged” by deluge of icy rain and the recurrent devil east wind. Forgot all about injury potential in the urge to approach Hot Shower Point as soon as possible. 🐢💨 👏🏼

The horses are currently being entertained by my family visitors - daughter & two grandsons, in from California & NZ. They are all runners and lots faster than I am, so ponies won’t even notice my return! 👍💕

This morning they were (sensibly) off under the trees instead of watching at the fence anyway. They didn’t like the icy rain either. 🤣
Like my cows in Tring park run, all sat and sheltering from the sun looking at us with concern...

I know what you mean about the rain though... I think it's better here than most places but I'd have liked a bit more sun for my jollies....

Actually I burnt my head running on Sunday and Wednesday, both of which were sunny here. So I'm glad of some soothing rain.
You need a peaked cap Pianism- you know it makes sense. I bought UpTheStanley two washable ones for his birthday so I can throw his old one out . Hoorah 😂
