Morning I am on week 7 which consist of 5 mins warm up 25 mins run then 5 mins cool down this morning I completed my second 25 min run and now my right calf muscle is hurting is this normal at this stage of the program?

This happened to me at about the same place and I wish I’d slowed up and stopped trying to run so darned fast on every single run. I still have the pain that comes and goes, in fact I’m sitting here with KT tape on it right now after a run yesterday (2 years after graduating). If you are able to, my advice is to rest it for at least 3 days and then slow right down, focus on your running style and let it repair properly. Don’t push. And good luck.

Thanks guys I am going to rest my calf my 3rd run is Saturday I will delay this till Sunday and see how it feels.
