Hello everyone and every brave person who keep running with this wonderful podcast,
it’s my second week and today was my first session week 2. I can’t deny it’s hard but I don’t stop, I follow her voice and almost pray to be able keep going. And for 4 times I’ve made it each time I finished all right. I run with my old running shoes and I promised myself I’ll buy a brand new ones once I finish week 9. It seems so far away.... fingers crossed.

It does seem far at the beginning but it goes by so quick, at least it did for me.
Well done for starting, that's sometimes the hardest part when you put lace your trainers up for the first time because you've made the decision to start.
Keep going and the people here have lots of knowledge and are very friendly.
Well done on starting, that is sometimes the hardest bit! You have the right mindset though, just keep going. The end result for any run/distance seems far away and daunting but you don't have to worry about the end yet, just your next run. I only looked at the week I was running in the app and whilst I didn't exactly enjoy those first few runs of week 1to3, I loved the sense of pride and the buzz I got after. Every run you do will be helping you make progress and before you know it you will have hit week 4 then 6 then 9! It genuinely does work, small steps, one foot in front of the other and a can do attitude. New running shoes is a great goal for the end! 😊🏃♀️
Thank you for your reply. I also believe it will happen this way, step by step. Little by little. My ultimate goal is to run every second day for 30 min without a stop. Hope the dream will come true.
It will. I promise, if you follow this program then it will happen. The advice is to run one day and rest one day with running too so your plan sounds perfect! Once you are running 30 minutes happily you may want to join the 5to10k plan on here, but for now enjoy running the week you are in and look forward to hearing your app tell you "you are a runner now". That was my proudest moment 😊
Just done w2, r2, so very close to you. Started on a tread mill with incline set to zero, then spent a bit of time on here and realised it should be incline of plus one, so did that yesterday and it was so much harder, but I'm loving it. My running shoes are coming at the end of week 4, I don't believe in delayed gratification.
Well done! We will accomplish it all right! And good for you for the shoes. I have to wait till 9th week not only for gratification purposes but also financial difficulties. And 9 weeks seem fine to collect that sum.
I remember week 2 well. Sarah Cox said get ready to run for 90 seconds and I was like I think not... but I stuck with it and now I'm about to do day 2 of week tomorrow. I treated myself to new trainers at the start of week 3. Made a huge difference. Well done and don't give up 💪💪
