Discovered a lovely new route, mainly on the flat, in my local woods! Really shady and pretty. Too busy looking at the prettiness and didn't spot the tree root waiting to trip me up and went straight down, doh! First thought was is my phone OK, second thought was this is going to affect my average speed on mapmyrun, πŸ˜‚... Priorities! Anyway, as you can see, I was still smiling at the end.

But....did you enjoy your trip? πŸ˜‚

Seriously, glad you are ok. Those pesky tree roots are like blooming hurdles!

I hope you didn't squash a butterfly! πŸ˜‰πŸ¦‹

No butterflies were harmed, only my dignity! πŸ˜‚

Dignity? Pah! Lost mine two decades ago. It's over rated anyway!

I love running trails but find as soon as I let my mind wander, boom, down I go, tripping over something. Trail running definitely requires you to be a bit more aware of your footing and it is important to be watching the trail a few feet in front of you. I'm glad you (and your phone) are ok πŸ™‚
