I have done it! Must admit it was fairly warm but as my local run is along the sea front I welcomed the sea breeze. Some runners there are amazing and super fast but I kept going and didn’t walk. My time was 31.45 so really pleased with that for my first ever 5K. Whilst running I kept thinking of the journey I have been on and thought about the support you have all given me. Your endless advice and support is invaluable. Thank you to each and every one of you. Feeling proud of myself and a little emotional too if I am honest!!

Well done and what a super fast time, especially on such a hot day. Running along the seafront sounds lovely - hope there was an ice cream after for you!

Congratulations Cally73 that is a really good time for your first park run. I really like the park runs with everyone encouraging each other and no one judging if you are good or struggle at the back like me!
