Having finished c25k last week, I did my first ever park run this morning! Going into it, I had two goals: one, to keep running throughout, and two, to get a time below 40 mins. I was running very near the back of the pack, which was a little disheartening, and the great British seaside kept up a steady, annoying drizzle, but I kept going even through the difficult hill of km 4 and finished it! I have yet to get my official time, but I looked at the time after I'd caught my breath back and it was about 39 mins after the start, so it looks like I managed sub 40! I'll definitely be going again and hopefully my time will improve. I've started incorporating a session of intervals per week, so hopefully that will help me improve my stamina. I quite like this running malarky!

Official time 37.43, giving me an average speed of just under 8km/h, which is actually faster than I've been doing on my 30 min runs!
