So. After 4 weeks of doing the same pattern for 3 days at a time...week 5 comes as a bit of a shock. Because I don't look ahead at runs coming up this morning's run was a bit of a surprise..... but hey. I did it!! 2 x 8 minutes runs. This time 4 weeks ago the physical effort it took to run for 60 seconds nearly killed me. 90 second runs were but a pipe dream. And here I am today just as completed not 1 but 2 #8 minute runs. Proud of myself. Hell yes I am!!
We've got this xx

Week 5 is probably the best week in terms of pushing and digging deep. Just keep going and all of a sudden that halfway bell goes and you know you've got this
I just did the first of the week five runs - 3 x five minutes- whoop whoop! Like you, I have avoided reading too far ahead and deliberately ignored some of the negative comments about what is to come- I thought the initial 60 seconds in week one was an eternity yet today I actually felt like I could have kept going a bit longer....not much but I definitely didn’t think it was beyond my reach to finish. Hope you continue to surprise yourself! Happy running!
Well done! I loved week 5 - it seems to bring everything together and starts to show you how well you are doing - keep going - it only gets better! 😊🏃🏻♀️
Thank you. I'm immensely proud of my achievement I'm also gobsmacked I've done it lol. Tomorrow morning will be the biggest test for me yet. Am just sorting out my play list... xxc
well done Martianchild, thats 16 mins of running you did, well done. It really is amazing how you end up doing far far more than you dreamed it possible just a short time ago👍😊
Considering I thought I was going to pass out on my first 60 second run I'm proper amazed at how long I can run for now. Looking forward to trying 20 mins tomorrow morning... never thought I'd hear myself say that 😱🤔🤗🏃♀️🏃♀️
Well done for falling under the spell of the black magic of C25K. Great isn’t it? Keep up the good work. They are sorting out a nice shiny badge for you later on. Enjoy getting there. Gently, safely and Slowly!
