Good luck with your challenge! I have done a Race at your pace challenge before - nice bling and t shirt! It's good to have a goal to aim for, whether it's training for an event, a virtual challenge or even a Parkrun PB! 😀
Yay ! Well done Sue and 25 miles is a great target...you will be fine. I have just completed 25 miles for Miles for Mind this month so increased the miles for June 🤦🏼♀️ I will follow you so can get motivation and good luck for graduation day 🏃♀️🎉
So great to run for charity, doing something good and giving you the motivation to get out of the door.
Crikey. Going for it! I need to get my butt moving again. 😕 feeling super stop/start. Stopped for a few weeks again due to a chesty cough. I enjoy reading how people are getting on on here. I’m feeling very frustrated and a little angry with myself. 😬
You will be back out before you know it I’m sure...hope you can soon and your cough has gone 🏃♂️
I needed something to motivate me to get me out the door, plus thought I would push myself a bit more this month (just worked out I have to run 20k a week) 🤦🏼♀️ didn’t realise that when I signed up ! 🙄 🤣
Off for gait analysis tomorrow so that should be fun - if too expensive I will come away with socks 🧦
Thank you 😊. I’m off away soon, so might get running then. Should help having a break from work etc too. Great for the body and soul. Gait analysis wasn’t too much I don’t think. The trainers I chose were quite expensive for me. But they were one of the ones they picked out, they also picked cheaper but these were just the most comfortable. 20k a week is well achievable for you! 5k per run. I’m sure you will smash it.
Nothing better than getting away from all the stresses of work and don’t forget to pack your lycra - sure you could fit in a run. Have a lovely time away !
I’m hoping they have a sale section🤞🤣and that I’m not shown a video of me running or I may have to have words 🤐
Haha yeah. Missed that stretchy Lycra! Not sure it will still fit my butt 😂. I’m looking forward to it rain or shine. Na. They just video your feet/ legs. I don’t even think I saw myself on it. The chap even encouraged me to take them for a short jog up and down the street before I’d bought them.
I am still on track for Race at your pace for June! Even with the wet UK weather at the moment I've been going out for my runs! I've done 6 x 5K runs so far so I'm looking good for 25 miles this month. Hope everyone else is getting on well with their June target x
