I did my first run tonight! Haven’t ran much before and I enjoyed it more than I thought I would 😊

I did my first run on Monday so 2nd one today at some point. Felt really high on Monday so hope those endorphins kick in again later this morning - makes me feel so much better about myself!

Welcome to our merry band! I'm sure there will be many people at the same stage as you and we all have plenty of tales of encouragement (and woe!).

All the very best with your first few runs... you will absolutely amaze yourself over the next few weeks! This programme has changed so many lives and I really couldn't have done it without this brilliant forum!

Keep us posted on your progress! :)

Well Done you. Look at you. Well on your way to being a runner!

You started. You are determined. You’ve got it!

None of us are very far from starting out. Nine weeks is a long time from where you are. A couple of months ago, from here.

Take good care to remember how good you felt when you finished that first run. Set your heart on running non stop for thirty minutes.

At each stage you will look back and not believe the progress that you have made. Just follow the plan. The plan works. Take your rest days. Drink water. Keep going back to your first reply, any time you have a question or concern. Iannoda Truffe and his FAQ posts, have the answer. Enjoy your journey.
