Smashed w5 r3 - well sort of

It was the big one tonight. Been thinking about it all day. Would I be able to do it? I read lots of chats on here about other people’s feelings and advice on this one and realised it was mainly in my head. So I put on some funk, stuck my headphones in and set off. And I did it!!!! Me. Running for 20 mins non stop. Well jogging very slowly. But I did it. How cool is that!!

Congratulations on completing run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K, onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks and runs after the non stop 20 minutes of W5R3

Well...

I Did it!! So chuffed, very slow and concentrated I was halfway and I didn’t feel bad, so that gave me strength. My playlist was a bit crap though... not find a good funk. Next run Jamiroquai and red hot chilli peppers 🌶! I will follow you. Next run on Friday!!

You will reach w9r3 in no time.

My run was very good.

The story is a bit long.

Was wearing ordinary thick socks, they were thinner than the running socks. And kind of slippery. After 6 minutes+ I stopped to tighten the laces.

But could not pause the app.

So, to run non-stop I ran until the 20 minutes were over plus the cool down time and a few more minutes.

I still had a cool down walk of 7 minutes.

It felt easy and I calculated again and again if I had done the 20 mins. And yes I had!
