1st Runniversary of graduating C25K

In May 26th 2018 I completed W9R3, something I doubted I would achieve. I have never been the sporty type, the odd round if golf being about it. What a difference 12 months can make.

Warning: Stats attack coming!

Since graduating I have completed 167 runs, a total of 957km, improved my 5k time to 28:30, completed the Bridge to 10k programme, run a 10k race in 58:10, run a quarter marathon, had a longest run of 16k and best of all met a few of my virtual running buddies in person. Oh and lost nearly 2 stone in weight.

I am proud of what I have achieved, but the real reason for posting this is to demonstrate to anyone who might be doubting the programme or wondering whether it is worth continuing after graduating that it is, because if I can do it in my late 50's, I am sure you can. So if in doubt, banish the gremlins and go and do it for yourself.

I can't wait for the next 12 months, I hope you feel the same

Well done! I also graduated a year ago and have only got to 10k! A 10 mile event is my target at the moment. In October!
