First 8 mins not so good, 2nd one better but didn’t feel entirely comfortable. I think because it was longer that my old friend panic kicked in...I wonder if I should repeat it or go on to the 20mins? Answers on a postcard please 🤣 meanwhile here’s a picture of my cat chillin 😳😬

Great photo! Go on to your 20 mins next but maybe give yourself a couple of rest and recover days first.

Oh, that cat is soooo sweet! 😻

Sleep on it whether to go for the next stage. I think either way it okay but you may get more confident if you repeat, especially if your old friend panic accompanies you.

Can you ask your old friend to go for a little holiday?

Hi Suebuzz, I think you should give run 3 a go, I did it last week and it really wasn’t that bad, and when Jo Whiley told me it was the last 2 mins I felt amazing, I punched the air as I’d almost done it, the last 2 mins we’re the easiest! Just take it slow, have some good tunes to listen to and make sure you’re well hydrated. You can do it, ignore that old friend, kick it to the curb 👍🏻

Go on to run 3. Remember the plan is designed in such a way that it prepares you for each run, so if you completed r2 move on. If it doesnt go well then you could always repeat r2 at that point. I took run 3 at a much slower pace with the idea that I could speed it up if I felt like it. I didn't but I did complete it and felt great and inspired for the following weeks.

Go for R3. If you still feel uncomfortable maybe then repeat a run.

Also tell your cat "meow meow". She will know what it means. 🐈

Can I just ask does your cat lose its lower bellyfur this time of year? Mine does and it looks like yours does too in the pic.

And yes!! Go on to run 3

Limberlou no she’s just lighter underneath, always the same.

The first 10 minutes of any run is the most difficult after this you will find your breathing will even out.

Remember the program has been training your body for this point. I would say give it ago. Take it slow and steady you'll probably surprise your self.

My predictive text wanted me to type you'll probably survive.

What a lovely cute little cat, you can repeat any runs or week's if you wish to, especially if you are not happy with your running, but I think you should go onto run 3 of week 5

Love to see a cat chillin’, they’re such elegant creatures...... If you’ve completed your runs I always think you should move on to the next one. If that goes wrong, then you can repeat it.
