"Week 9" ended up dragging out over 2 weeks, due to illness and a trip away. The distance for my final 30 minute run was shorter than the first 2, at about 4.5KM. All in all, a little bit disappointing, especially as I had such good momentum until this point. But, I'm sure I'll feel more pleased with myself in time, and I'm determined to press on with consolidation running, more speed and maybe some longer distances too..!
Good luck to everyone on the C25K journey. It really is amazing, and you've definitely got this!

Hey there, Congratulations! Sorry you were not feeling well in between Week 9 but you got there in the end. Do you know that less than 10% of graduates hit 5K in Week 9, so you are in the majority, and with consolidation running the next 3 weeks you will surely see small improvements along the way. Remember that the advice is you should either focus on completing 5K (regardless of time) or focus on 30 mins (regardless of distance) over the next few weeks, if you try to do both you will most likely do yourself an injury or be majorly disappointed, but the only way is up from here so enjoy the success of today and best of luck for the next part of your journey.
Congratulations. Always celebrate what you did... 4.5k is good for this plan, and even if you’d managed 2k, 30 minutes of cardio is a big achievement! 5k changes your life a lot less than 30 minutes. Celebrate 4.5k, that other 500m is the same 500m we can’t run on day one... that 4.5k is all down to your hard work. So, celebrate your achievement well in the knowledge that if you can run 0-30 minutes in a couple of months, 60 is also possible pretty soon. Enjoy consolidation and all your future running adventures
