So I have completed week one and I am feeling excellent run 3 was so drastically different from run 1. I was struggling with breathing so done research I to it and instead of panicking and catching breath, I have found my breathing rythym and it is everything. Can't wait to get my new running trainers

Well done you! Have fun choosing your new running shoes!

Just a thought... If you're going to be spending money on new shoes anyway, is there a sports shop near you where they can do a gait analysis for you and advise you which shoes would suit your running style? I'm planning to get mine done soon after someone on here recommended it - the name was Sweatshop but there'll be other shops that do it too.

Well done Runweezly, it’s surprising how much easier it seems to get over the course of a week. I’ve just completed W3R1 which I was worried about as it jumps up to 3 minutes running but found it much easier than expected.

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.
