Feeling so pleased to have managed the 20 minute run. Never thought this would be possible 5 weeks ago and I’m feeling confident about next week! Happy days 😊

Happy days to you 'spike07', well done on running run 3 of week 5, 20 minutes of non-stop running, quite an achievement, that run is a milestone run with C25K. Onwards and upwards to runs 1 and 2 of week 6, but be careful with those two runs as they have caught out some people after run 3 of week 5 with their interval walks and runs, but if you take them slowly you will be OK

I think Week 5 Run 3 really opens our eyes to the fact that the plan works. We start it knowing it is there to help us but there is usually a degree of doubt. I was so surprised when I managed to achieve that run. I had been really, really apprehensive about the 20 minute non-stop and completing it made me realise that the plan really will get us there. I actually didn't feel caught out by week 6 but I do remember feeling like the break in the runs felt a little unnatural...

Anyways, congratulations! Bask in the achievement, you have more to come! Exciting stuff!
