2 months ago, I would never of believed that I would book myself in for my very first 5K race yet here I am, now training for a race! I've got 2 more runs before graduating C25K and then I'm going to start consolidation runs and try and up my pace so I can do a 5K in about half an hour!
I will be running in the 5K race exactly 2 months today! Very exciting and I think it is safe to say that I have fallen in love with running!

A 5k race is a fab idea and a good bit of motivation to keep you running, though don't feel like you necessarily need to get your time to 30 mins before you enter the race, just run at a comfy pace. Keep us posted when you do do the race though, I'll follow you so I don't forget to ask.

I did that not so long ago, and totally loved the race and in the post-race euphoria I entered another one..... and then I somehow accidentally entered a 5 mile race 😱 I have the second 5k coming up this weekend and then I have 4 weeks to get myself ready for the 5 mile!! Warning, it seems to be addictive!!
Yeah I can't wait for my race, I've accidentally coincided race week with driving test week too! Oops!
