Has anyone else found it easier to run first thing in the morning before breakfast than after work? My w3r1 in the morning was ok but w3r2 after work my legs were really aching at the end, really struggled & when I got home I had to sit down as I felt light headed. Has anyone felt light headed after?

Yes! I do find it easier in the morning too, and I can run in the evening if that’s the only option but I tend to make those shorter. I was listening to a podcast the other day and it said running in the morning is more effective and boosts your productivity all day. So there’s that too!

Thanks for your reply, have you ever had lightheadedness?

I'm the opposite. I hate running early. I need a few hours to wake up and I need fuel!!

I prefer to run in the morning but I have long thick curly hair that takes time to tame, and since I leave for work at 7am, I would have to be going out before 5am to have a hope..... and that’s not happening 😂

I definitely feel more tired running after work particularly when hungry

I’m an early morning runner, up and at it before 6am and breakfast!! I just find it fits my life better and it’s done and I can get on with the rest of the day then!

I think it’s very individual. I vastly prefer to run in the morning but that’s partly because I’m a morning person anyway and partly because it fits the rest of my life (& my partner’s) better that way. I do drink a milky cup of coffee or eat half a banana before I go tho’. Not a big fan of activity on an empty stomach, but many people find it ok. Try a few different patterns & see what works for you. 👍😊
