Well found this really hard and after finishing felt really sick! Has this happened to anyone else? Don't feel much better this morning! It's putting me off doing Day 2 tomorrow.

I think that's pretty normal. You'll find out if you're best running on an empty stomach or having something light half hour before.

Don't be put off. Get out there. You may go through a pain barrier but you're going to feel amazing.

Do it! It will get better! I'm only 1 run in and facing run 2 in the rain today but determined to see it through.

Imagine how good you'll feel when you've done Day2, hopefully no feelings of sickness as your lungs get used to the workouts

Good luck!!!

Keep well hydrated too. Dehydration will give you headaches and make you fell sick. Remember to go slow too.

Don't pack up, you just started! You are only doing a few walks with tiny jogs thrown in. If you go slowly it's well do-able. Did you eat too soon before you ran or were you too hungry? As you go,you can sort out your meal times to suit 🙂

I feel sick if I drink milky coffee beforehand, so stopped doing it 😝

Hi Lizzie14. I just looked at your first post (64 and not done much exercise). Some people build up to c25k by getting into the habit of some regular walking first. That may be an option.

Okay... just make sure you have not eaten too soon before your run...as misswobble says.. I have a cuppa and two digestive bikkies about 45 mins to an hour before I run....and a sip of water just before leaving the house. I take water on much longer runs....I run first thing in the mornings. Find what suits you best..

Then, so slow and so steady... it is the only way, when we begin a strange new adventure. You are, like so many of us slightly more mature:) ( I am 67)... and say, you have not done much exercise.. so, that is your answer.. just relax and go ever so gently..it will come.

Many of us felt we may die in those first few weeks... but we survived.. as will you :)
