I normally try and avoid the rain if I can but it’s been such a stressful couple of days I was running no matter what the weather. Really glad I did, I feel tons better for it
I didn’t like the rain at first, it was quite heavy n unpleasant, but then it eased off a bit n I decided it was quite refreshing then
2.16 more miles done to add to my Miles for Mind total, so 10.96 miles done so far, 39.04 left to do. Need to get some more miles under my belt, the days are going a bit too quickly! 🏃♀️

Well done Jill and it’s actually quite nice running in the rain as long as it’s not pelting down 💦 it cools you down.
A big thank you for the exercises you recommended yesterday, think it’s really helped as today foot much better although still tender so will give it a few more days rest and hopefully run on Sunday 🏃♀️
Thanks, I think it was worse cos it was heavier while I was struggling with the toxic 10 so I just made me more miserable lol. Once it eased up n my breathing settled it was much more enjoyable 😊
Glad the exercises have helped 😊 Resting up sounds sensible though. Keep doing them 2 or 3 times a day till it seems settled but then it’s probably a good idea to do them once a day just to maintain, as it can come back. Hopefully once you have new running shoes it’ll just go away but there’s no guarantees, it can be pretty persistent
Thanks Jill, yes just had another ice foot bath and purchased some plantar insoles from my local running shop...they feel weird but will hopefully help too.
Well done for accepting the challenge, both of rain-running and Miles for Mind.
I quite like running in the rain once I've started and if I'm wearing the correct clothing. Not so keen on being soaked to the skin though as happened on my recent long run where the weather report let me down!
Thanks 😊 I had my waterproof jacket on but once the rain eased off a bit I ended up unzipping it cos I was too warm. Definitely glad I had it though, being soaked to the skin can’t be much fun!
