Feeling pretty pleased with myself after my first 35 minute run today. My pace felt good n is definitely improving n I actually managed to get past halfway to 5k! ๐๐๐ I even enjoyed the wind, it helped to keep me nice n cool. Plus Iโve completed 4.53 miles for Miles for Mind, only 45.47 to go! Happy days!

Congratulations Jill on running for 35 minutes your first 5K, that is a very good time, you deserve to be very proud of yourself, happy days to you, onwards and upwards. ๐ ๐
Thanks AlMorr but sadly, it wasnโt 5k but only just over halfway to 5k, 2.67k to be precise lol. But itโs the first time Iโve broken halfway so Iโm very pleased ๐
Why thank you! This past couple of weeks have been pretty amazing to be fair. Not sure what happened but Iโve gone from shuffling to running ๐๐
Well done today on running for 35 minutes and counting down the miles ! Your definetly going to get some bling at the end....have you seen this years medal ? ๐ฅ
That's great you are so positive and enthusiastic. We are all getting there at our own pace. I huffed and puffed for 39 mins to get to a 5k in my second run since graduating. It was hard going! When's it going to get easier? ๐จ๐ฉ
Thanks! Are you doing any consolidation runs? I did 8 before it started to get easier but Iโm so glad I did as my pace keeps increasing now ๐. Give your body a bit of time to adjust with some consolidation n youโll soon notice a difference ๐
Just 2 runs since graduation yes will keep at it ! One of them being the 5 k and it taking 39 mins so maybe overdid it. Patience and practice ! That's good to know ๐๐
