If it’s raining my default position is to take a rain check on running. What about you?

Running in the Rain... Yay or Nay?

Today it was peeing it down so I waited until later to do my run. But if rain had been forecast all day, I'd have done it earlier - hail NO! Rain hmm ok.

Did my first ever run in the rain yesterday and loved it! A baseball cap to protect the specs was all I needed, then I just marvelled at the freshness of the air and how green everything was 🙂

I get a bit worried about the muddy tracks and slipping over. I have taken a rain check up till now. I’d love to breath in that fresh air though!
I much prefer running in the rain (light rain...not heavy! Haha!). It’s so refreshing as you’re constantly getting cooled down by the rain. Good luck!

Much prefer the rain to the wind, I wear a visor to keep my glasses clear and off I go. Hail might stop me, but it does not usually last long.

I read somewhere that "skin is waterproof", which I quite like!

I'm with Dozydora61, rain is easier than wind.
I've just got in from a 35 minute run, pleasantly drenched 💧☔

Running outside often means hot/cold/wet/windy and sometimes, if you're extremely lucky and the stars align, the weather is fine and friendly. You either run inside or outside, no third option, and if you choose to run outdoors then you go and run, nothing else. Over-cooking, deliberating, weighing in options never work. If my run was scheduled as it was yesterday and l had to cover upper mileage and the skies were about to open, what other choice was there but go and run? None.

I love running in the rain. Was out for 45 minutes last night. Totally drenched but felt great.
I did it! I went out In the rain this evening! But I don’t want to do that again! At least now I can say been there done that! 😁
