Out early this morning for run 2 week 9. We are two hours ahead here in Cyprus so it is early ! Still cannot believe I have reached this point. It’s not so long ago that I was gasping away like puffing billy anytime there was a slight incline. Now I would not say that I glide up the hills now, or that I’m running up that hill with no problems ( thank you Kate Bush) but it is getting easier. Beautiful scent of lemons and oranges today as well as the smell of the bread from the bakery. How I manage not to run in there and grab a bun, well it’s a mystery ( thank you Toyah) those 2 songs will be in my head all day! Still missing faithful spaniel, the two dogs that ran along side me this morning were friendly enough, but I kept an eye on them just to make sure they didn’t want a bite of me. Have to say I have never been bitten by any of the village 🐕 they seem a friendly enough bunch.
Well Friday will be my graduation run, I could never have got this far without all the encouragement and friendly posts from other runners. It’s been an interesting journey!
Good luck to all us week nine runners and all newbies.
Here’s a pic of our garden hedge, so colourful, we cut it right back in September and by April it’s gone mad again!

Wow that’s amazing, well done - and that’s just for resisting the temptation of the bakery! The fact that you and others have made it to week 9 after weeks of pain but perseverance inspires me and gives me hope, so thank you for sharing your journey and best of luck for Friday 😀👍🏻
