I was elated at my first 25 mins run at the end of week 6, but this week it has felt more of a slog.
Today it was cool and breezy, in my face going uphill to start (I live right by the sea so every route starts by going uphill) . The first about 8 mins is not easy, then I settle about half way through and it gets better ( and downhill).
Doing a 5k on Saturday for charity - a virtual event this year - usually our biggest participation sport event on the island (500+ women) - and my route including the walk at the start and end is just shy of that, so I will push it on Saturday. Wish me luck!

Well done for getting this far, I definitely couldnβt if I had to go uphill that much!
Congratulations on completing run 2 of week 7, onwards and upwards BUT as you have not graduated yet from C25K with the 3/30 minute runs of week 9 I would advise not to "push it" for your 5K virtual charity run on Saturday as that could cause a injury, good luck for that run but don't push it just yet.
I'm at exactly the same stage and am finding WK7 challenging but strangely easier than WK6 π€. Started, like many others, as a lockdown challenge and I guess didn't think I'd get this far as didn't expect lockdown to last this long!! Now determined to see the program to the end but still not convinced I'll continue running!
Thanks, yep, set out just before 10am - it was hard work again (breeze direction straight in my face) but ended better. Walked extra to get the 5k in. Cheers!
