Woke up a little sad this morning, missing my lovely boys back in the uk....so only one thing for it...lace up the trainers and go for a run on a beautiful sunny morning, and take 2 of my three beautiful spaniels. The run was lovely and every step I could feel my mood improving greatly, to the point where I feel happy again...still miss family but will FaceTime them later (tried but they are too busy enjoying themselves on bank holiday Monday)
These two are now fast asleep in the sun, but they did do more than I did and a bit quicker pace.

Lovely photo of your two spanials Franglaise, of course you will be missing your two boys who are back in the UK, but I hope it won't be too long before you see them again.
I am glad that you enjoyed your run today with the dogs, you will be running the 6 post graduation 30 minute consolidation runs at the moment. 😊 🏃 They can be ran over a period of 2 or 3 weeks.
I was going to ask you what you were thinking about after you have completed your consolidation runs, 10k, good luck for that, but first you should try to run a 5K in around a time which is comfortable for you.
On Saturday I reran run 3 of week 5, my pace was 07.09km compared with my first run of week 5 run 3 last year of 0.8.40 that was when I was doing C25K before I graduated.
Once I get to 30 minutes of running I will gradually increase the distance by the 10% rule, I will see how that goes. 😊, bonjour Franglaise. 😊 🏃
It’s such a great mood lifter isn’t it! Even on the bad runs, I always feel loads better afterwards. Hope your family are having a great time over here, despite the rubbish weather, we’re expecting rain to start shortly n not stop till late tonight 😕
Typical bank holiday weather! Its 26 degrees here.
They both have their own busy lives and are happy...They are 23 and 22, young men, but still my babies (they would kill me right now for putting that) hope your running is going well...and yes, fantastic mood lifter.
Well done on the running, sounds like you really enjoy it.
I'm on consolidation 5 on Wednesday. My only complaint is I keep getting a stitch after 20 mins running, very painful. Can't work out why, if it's my breathing, am I a bit hunched over? Seriously annoying.
Thanks 😊. I do really enjoy it, I only started it to try n lose a bit of weight n get a bit fitter but it’s absolutely changed my life. There’s no going back now! 😂😂
The stitch must be really frustrating, I hope you can figure out what’s causing it soon 🤞🤞
