I’ve run for 80 miles!!

Whilst I acknowledge that the headline is slightly sensationalist (😆), I started tracking runs with Runkeeper in November, around week 4 of C25K. Last night, when checking stats on Runkeeper, my total miles covered since November is 80!!! How impressive is that!

Very impressive! Cool to see how the numbers can add up over time and before you know it - 80 miles!

Thanks. Works out as 5 mile a week but 80 miles just sounds sooo cool!

80 miles (129 kilometres), very impressive indeed, I don't record every run I have ran, but I doubt I will have ran 80 miles since I started C25K in April 2018, won't be long until you have ran 100 miles, well done.

You’d be surprised, 80 miles sounds a lot (hence my headline!), but it works out as 5 miles a week. If you’ve been at this malarkey since 2018 you’ll have totted up a pretty impressive total!

I think I have ran at least 80 miles or more Leosmit, 4/10Ks, 14 park runs, on the way to 10K, a 6, 7 and 8k run, several local 5K runs, that is not counting the runs of C25K, so I could well be over a 100 miles since I started C25K on 18th April 2018.

Now that’s what I call an impressive list! Wow! Oh I would love to be able to list off runs like that. Have you found it all enjoyable?

I only once had to stop running, it was in early January when I intended to run my 5th 10K, perhaps I ran too fast for the first 3 or 4 Kilometres, knew I would not make the ten but was determined to run 5K, perhaps it also was due to the Christmas and New Year's Day meals that I recently had, anyway, apart from that run I have found my runs enjoyable.

Thank you! I’m just staying around the 5/6 k mark for a while. Need to build up confidence. Glad to read that you’re felling better again and getting stuck into 10k plan. Being unwell with young kiddies ain’t fun!
