So completed w2 r2 yesterday and done the strength and flex day 1 today. Yesterday’s run felt awful. I was in a different area. I went for my run while the kids went to karate. Really self conscious of what I looked like. And really slow! But I guess the important thing is I’m getting off my ass and doing it. W2r3 tomorrow.

Yes you're right you're getting out and exercising don't bother about what's going on around you just enjoy running 😊😊

Good for you, trying out a new route and using that trapped time to do something for yourself. I was really self conscious when I first started C25K, now I really don't care who sees me being slow and sweaty!

You are doing well keep positive and think how much this is going to change your life for the better, it has mine for sure. Keep a diary and write everything down each run and then look back in a couple of weeks time and you will be proud how far you have come

That’s an awesome tip thank you.I didn’t think about that. Just got back from w2r3 and feeling proud I’ve kept it up. My treat is some new trainers and headphones. Now to kick the nasty nicotine habit too. Then hopefully I will see a bigger improvement.
