...It was warmer than I thought. I hate overheating!
I started with a ten min warm up walk to get to the top of the hill before running. This was a mini experiment to see if the run was easier without an uphill start. Was it? Well no! ๐คฃ but I think that was the weather. I really don't function well when i get hot. It took a lot of determination to get to the end. The main thought for the last part was "come on Laura, give me the minute bell" She must have been off making tea as she ignored me for a long time ๐ค
Anyway it's done now โ next time the Capri running tights rather than the full length oh and I won't have had an induction at the gym beforehand ๐
Back to evening running (yay ๐) on Wednesday for the first of wk8, then a few days off for a girlie weekend ๐พ๐ธ๐พ๐ธ๐พ๐ธ๐พ๐ธ๐พ๐ธ๐พ๐ธ๐พ๐ธ๐พ๐ธ๐น

Well done! Yes, it does feel warm out there (and humid, which makes it worse!). Think I've decided to run tomorrow instead when I might get a bit of cooling rain.
I hate overheating too, it sucks big time, but Iโm not overheating as much as I used to now some off the blubber is departing for pastures new. I also like to imagine Iโm in the ice room at the spa I once went too n thatโs surprisingly effective ๐
Well done for getting through it anyway, hopefully itโll be easier next time. Enjoy your girlie weekend!
I sneaked out really early yesterday. It was lovely and cool then and I am blessed with a running route by a river so it always seems cooler anyway. Had my day off today thankfully as the heat is a nono for me as my face goes into lobster mode and I just seem to boil alive (another lobster thing, sorry). I graduated a week ago which now comes with my choice of freedom from running apps, where I choose my time and for how long I run, it is so much more empowering. I think once you graduate you will get what I mean. The discipline C25K gives you will make you carry on in a couple of weeks time....it does feel good when it is your own choice...keep going you are nearly there
Hi well done for getting thru to week 8. I have wk7 run 3 to do tommorow and looking forward to it. Can't believe I can run for that length of time. Hope it's still funny after my 12hr shift ! All the best !
Just back from my run, Iโm away from home so not so hilly! However if I do this run another way there will be a hill to start with, so Iโll try that and report back on Thursday. Hills I hate them but they are good for us so they say !
Well done on completing w7 - hopefully youโd be finished the plan by the time we get to the good old British sweltering summer! Donโt put away the long johns just yet! Happy running Jogunlikely!
This time i plan to keep going. No excuses.. a little worried that i may have to start running in the morning before work if it gets too warm ๐ฌ i am not a morning person! Or I'm going to have to learn to be hot
But in reality we will probably have the usual week of hot weather then rain the rest of the summer ๐
