It is the message that we constantly push..............nice to know it is not just us.

Yeah... those mitochondria are the key to being able to use the endurance... the other ways of increasing them that I know of are to live up a mountain, or the special houses of Nikeβs Project Oregon, which was controversial , and almost classed as doping.
Iβm assuming that my levels of them are raising as my slow has become faster over the last few months, Iβm now working on finding a new slow gear at the pace it used to be... with some success.

Yes I heard that from Coach Bennett on I think Another long run by NRC. He was saying that long runs have benefits for increasing mitochondrial action...

Hills are what made me faster. Those and running further.

We always knew it...the long slow runs build stamina, strength..distance and speed..ππππ

Thank goodness for that!
