Got out super early today as wasn’t looking forward to the heat and was a lovely temperature and glad to get it done early. Lots of stress to run off as worrying about limping cat that I can’t get to the vet till tomorrow on top of getting the kids back to school fun. It wasn’t a terribly fast run but the 28 mins didn’t seem too different from 25. Bit daunting for the first half but the way back was fine and at no point did I think I couldn’t finish. Bit of problem with my right foot going numb despite careful loose trainer lacing and my shoulders felt a bit sore today which I haven’t had before. On we go! Hope everyone else has good runs. X

I’m a couple of runs ahead but seem to have a different niggle in my body after every run!
When I was doing C25K I remember the same thing. The pain for me seemed to move upwards. The first few weeks it was my calf muscles that aches the most, then it moved up to my thighs. By about week 6 or 7 my bum was aching after a run!!
Interesting, I had the same yesterday W7R2 - I had experienced tightness in my right calf a few times during week 5 & 6 and slowed to a walk but kept going to 5KM when it did happen. Yesterday I felt the tightness in my right thigh (something not experienced before). Started about 15mins in so slowed down (if that is possible) and walked some but then managed to jog last 5 mins. I know I have run recently as my leg muscles are tender today (up till now I have recovered well). Yesterday I actually took a water bottle with me for 1st time and only sipped. Hopefully I will be AOK on Wednesday/Thursday for next 25min run.
