Boo, yay, boo!

So after graduating several weeks ago, I have been pushing on through the running, slowly increasing how long I run to try and reach the elusive 5k. The most I have been able to reach before was 4 k in 36 mins. Not fast but good for me. That was until last week. Wednesday I had had an exhausting day at work, on my feet all day. I promised a run with my husband so we headed out even though I wasn't feeling it. Something happened after the first 20 mins and my determination took hold. Not sure how but I pushed on through to reach the 5k marker in 45 min😁😁 Not Mo Farrah standard I know but for me AMAZING! I was so over the moon that I was still grinning the following day, just before I got told I need foot surgery on both fee and will not be allowed to run for 6 weeks (boo). Would anyone have any ideas for gentle yet foot friendly exercises?

Making the most of my last few days of working feet. Off to climb Snowdon tomorrow!!!!!!

Go you... well done in every way....

I suppose after your surgery you will be told what you can or can't do exercise wise, but there are loads of things out there...e.g.

Snowdon should be quieter tomorrow... it has bee really busy here in Snowdonia since Thursday... and the lovely weather has meant even more folk heading up there:)

Enjoy!
