So in shock I sobbed all the way home...

I just completed week five. I remember not being able to complete week 1 episode 1- I had to repeat it. Just five weeks of running later and I'm running for twenty minutes straight. I can't believe it. I'm so proud of myself.

Not only do I feel fantastic, but it really helps keep my depression at bay- I get cranky if I don't run which is great motivation to do it!

It's literally amazing how well- tailored this program is. I believe you will be fine if you do everything you're told to do, keep hydrated and eat well :)

Congratulations to you Beteljio on running run 3 of week 5, that is a milestone run with C25K. Onwards and upwards to week 6 run 1 but be careful about that run as it catches out some people with the interval walks 🚶 and runs 🏃

Glad that you are feeling fantastic and your 🏃 journey is keeping your depression at bay. 😊 🏃

I am so happy for you!!

Were you able to finish the 3rd run on the first try? I just finished the second run and I was surprised to see that I have to run for 20min next time, it feels like a big jump from running 8min!

I did! She literally says 'this might seem like a big jump' and I'm like yeah I'm not gonna manage.. But its possible. Just have to battle through that leg burn and pace yourself carefully :D

Isn’t it great? Have to admit I never thought I would do it either. And I certainly didn’t anticipate the mental benefits that seem to come with running. Hurray for you! 👏🏼🎉 Onwards (slowly, if needed) and outwards. 🐢💨

Congrats on a great milestone run! I'm like you; if I don't run, I get quite cranky as well 😠. It has been too many days for me lately due to a crazy on- call schedule .... so I am counting down until I can get a much needed run in 😬. Soon 🤞(Tomorrow hopefully)

Very well done to you. Isn’t it great to have that feeling of immense pride in your own achievement, that’s what I do love with the C25K program. I’m still in a buzz that I can now run. Enjoy your runs. Happy running.

Well done to you. It’s an amazing feeling isn’t it? I grinned like an idiot all the way home from my first 20 minute, and the same the following week on the first 25.
