Sulking!

I'm have a proper cob on at the moment. I finished week 6 last Monday, went to the physio Tues pm and haven't run since ☹

I should be out on the trails in this amazing weather we have been having. Not sure if it was aggravated by the physio but a minor niggle in my run cage (old injury from detached rib as a teen) turned into proper pain, making deep breathes difficult and general discomfort. Thankfully that has now subsided but I'm going to give myself another couple of days to be on the safe side.

The ponio was a good distraction this morning and we went for a lovely long ride to see the bluebells :)

Planning a run in another bluebell wood on Monday to motivate me. I'm going to wallow in self pity for 5 more minutes then kick myself up the backside!!

Happy Easter to you all x 🥚🐤🐰

Sympathy- You will be running again soon, glitches are an inevitable part of being a runner because life happens.🙄

Happy Easter to you too! What a gorgeous photo - I haven't seen a nice bluebell wood in years - my childhood one was simply magical!

Take it easy - I have no doubt you'll be back to form very soon. In the meantime, enjoy the lovely warmth. :)

Pants! Must be something in the air. I am also out of action. But people on forum told me that you can maintain fitness levels for a couple of weeks.

Will let you know if true when the stitches come out!

Happy Easter.🐤🐥🐣

That's just rubbish for you :(

Hopefully it won't stop you doing strength and flex work in the meantime.

Take care x

Hope you have a speedy recovery JJ! I’m hoping my calf will be up to carrying on with W6 tomorrow- enforced hiatus is irritating isn’t it!!

Labral tear: originally from riding wide huge-moving warmbloods without stirrups for too long, turned osteo-arthritic and have irritated it with running just recently so under orders to not run for a while and focus on cycling and swimming instead. Lots of stretches and strengthening exercises to do and having to restrict the calories and try to lose some weight so when I do get back running I’ll be less likely to inflame it again 😖

Hope you’re up and running again in the not too distant future Equi-geek!

Beautiful bluebells! So sorry you aren’t able to run yet, but you’re right to be cautious. Hope you get to run in this lovely setting soon x

A delayed response from me but I hope yesterday’s blues have now been blown away Jogunlikely and that you’re on the mend as well! Those bluebells are gorgeous!
