I'm have a proper cob on at the moment. I finished week 6 last Monday, went to the physio Tues pm and haven't run since ☹
I should be out on the trails in this amazing weather we have been having. Not sure if it was aggravated by the physio but a minor niggle in my run cage (old injury from detached rib as a teen) turned into proper pain, making deep breathes difficult and general discomfort. Thankfully that has now subsided but I'm going to give myself another couple of days to be on the safe side.
The ponio was a good distraction this morning and we went for a lovely long ride to see the bluebells
Planning a run in another bluebell wood on Monday to motivate me. I'm going to wallow in self pity for 5 more minutes then kick myself up the backside!!
Happy Easter to you all x 🥚🐤🐰

Labral tear: originally from riding wide huge-moving warmbloods without stirrups for too long, turned osteo-arthritic and have irritated it with running just recently so under orders to not run for a while and focus on cycling and swimming instead. Lots of stretches and strengthening exercises to do and having to restrict the calories and try to lose some weight so when I do get back running I’ll be less likely to inflame it again 😖
A delayed response from me but I hope yesterday’s blues have now been blown away Jogunlikely and that you’re on the mend as well! Those bluebells are gorgeous!
